I totally agree with the previous comment. Tricare will find any loophole in the warranty agreement to avoid paying. We purchased a rust module on the 4 year old vehicle bought from the dealer. Just 3 months later the rust started to come out. Tricare declined any repairs even though we had a box checked for perforation. Unless you have a fist size hole in your car they will not cover anything. Rust module not worth spending money, over... Read more

I am a retired Navy physician who can not get care at the hospital where I myself cred for many retirees. Every referral in the past 8 years has been refused with the exception of mammograms. Likely because those are very litigious. Otherwise I am sure I would also be sent out. I do everything they ask and they will not even register my warranty. My Dealership has sent many requests to register me. They refuse to do so, keeping my warranty pending online, and at the same time saying that if it does not register soon it will be cancelled. i moved here in jan from reno nevada. my complaint is that i now have medicare because i am disabiled and tricare because i am a retired military member. i tried going to the emergency room here and they wont take medicare or tricare because they are not hospitial affilated. this is a military town. there are thousands of veterans around here that have tricare. to me they are lying on their adds when they say we are here for the people only if... My wife was scheduled for an urgent surgery related to pregnancy. Her PCM had limited availability and scheduled the surgery ASAP! Tricare claimed they could not find the referral request and had to authorize it befor anything was done! This delay caused rescheduling and interference with my military duties!

Surgery recommendation from a neurosurgeon denied to not completing alternative methods of treatment. Decision was appealed after all recommended alternative treatments were done (20 physical therapy appointments and epidurals), yet it was denied again. The customer service line hung up on.me 2 x and transferred me to voicemails 3x. All because i wanted to change a provider for my sons authorization. He happens to be 18 and is a senior in high school. They would rather he wait the 3o+ minutes on the phone to change the provider than have me do it while he is in school. !!!!!! We have been covered by Tri-Care West for over 31yrs and until just recently we never had a problem with claims being paid and processed... now this year I had a visit to the ER that Tri-Care decided that I had other insurance that was my primary that should be claimed against first...
